Great little history lesson on the resume. I’ve been thinking about the issue with the resume for about 7 or so years actually. I’ve even documented some ideas on the subject. The number one issue is that its self written. This is also one of its primary strengths however so there is a balancing test which needs to occur. Anyway, great little read. Thanks!

PS – some of your “Super friends” are aligned together……I’m sure you know this already. :)

Really clever infographic, guys! We’ve certainly come a long way… faxing – ha!

Adding on… Today we also have talent communities where resumes are shared among targeted social connections.

    Thanks for sharing!

That’s a great info piece Jim thanks. It’s a nice feature for our office wall :) I remember when Adobe released PDF, changed my life! There’s a lot of demand for video resumes now, though that’s something the applicant still has to do themselves. Maybe video resumes should be part of a recruitment service, what do you think? – Charles
