NEW BLOG: The Job Search Strategist (well… not so new)
Earlier this year, I started a blog called - the Job Search Strategist which (as you might have guessed) gave job hunting advice and tutorials to job seekers. It was written by myself and a few of my friends, but gradually began to fade into obscurity. Well, I did not want that to happen, especially at a time when so many people are in need of such advice. So, I have decided to relaunch it on this domain and remove it from my old jimstroud.com domain.
This is a peek at what it looks like now.
The Job Search Strategist is written (mostly) by David B. Wright, author of The Get A Job Book! I contribute articles from time to time as well. And just to intrigue you a bit as to the type of stuff you will find there, here are a list of some of the blog posts:
- How to manage your online identity with Google Alerts
- A Tip on LinkedIn Recommendations
- 50 Ideas on Using Twitter for Business
- Employment “Assistantace”
If you would, let me know what you think and spread the word to every passive and active job seekers you know? Please? Pretty please? Thanks…
Here is that link again.

We recently launched a new jobs board in Ireland for jobs in Ireland but now with the economy in tail spins, thanks to the greed factor, we are finding that jobs arew being advertised as far awaya s OZ and NZ.
We offer some advice for jobseekers etc. and I like what you have to say on your site.
If there are aspects on your site that we would like to reproduce on http://jobs2ireland.com then we would email you first and also credit you with the information.
Keep the information highway flowing !

You rock! Jim. This is great information. I am certain I can use a few of it myself. Thanks again for taking the time to post it.
