Is eAnnouncer a cool tool or a spammer’s dream?
Have you ever had the need to mass email several candidates? Well, if so, I have a cool tool for you to download. I have used it for multiple projects and it works seamlessly. The tool is called - eAnnouncer and it is a plugin for Microsoft outlook.
Here is a quick tutorial of how it works (ripped off from the company homepage). These directions apply (of course) after you have downloaded and integrated the product.
1. Start Outlook and create a new mail message.
2. When you’re done composing the message, click the “Announce” button on the toolbar.
3. Once you click the “Announce” button you will see the following dialog. Use the “Browse…” button to select your mailing list. If you’d like to preview or edit the mailing list before sending, select the “Open…” button.
4. Press the “Send” button to create and send all of your emails, one per recipient in your mailing list. As the emails are being created and sent you will see the status as shown in the following picture.
In the next screenshot (below) the mailing list contains 369 emails, and the 166th email is currently being sent. There is an estimated time remaining of 28 seconds. That’s it, you’re mail messages have been sent.
More reasons to use this tool:
- With the free version, you can send up to 50 emails at a time.
- You can set it to pause so many seconds between emails so an ISP will not think your legitimate email is an ad for Viagra.
- You can keep a history of all the email announcements you have sent.
- You are using Outlook to send your messages, so you don’t have to learn anything new
- Your emails go out individually and can be addressed specifically to each recipient
- No ads or banners of any kind when you use the free version. (Really like that)
If you are already sold on this, click here to purchase a copy, or click here to download the freebie (just remember that you can only send out 50 at a time with the free version).
I think you will like this one, let me know if you don’t. By the way, you may want to check out Subject Lines That Sell.
Subject Lines That Sell is an ebook on how to write compelling titles for your email so people will feel compelled to open them up and read them. Its really written for people who sell products online but hey, isn’t your job a product? Click here to check it out.
