A subtle birthday hint…

Look what I found online today… FreeShipping.org

FreeShipping.org

What does FreeShipping.org do? It gives you a HUGE list of links to where you can find free shipping coupons for various stores online. They sort their vast collection of freebies in multiple categories: Free Shipping by Store, Category, “Soon to Expire” and “Most Recent.” The premise behind it is pretty simple; say you wanted to buy that new Kindle reader that Amazon has been promoting. (I saw one in an airport recently and it was pretty cool.) Well, before you make that purchase, visit FreeShipping.org for Amazon free shipping deals and save some money before you hand over your credit card.

I like FreeShipping.org because its incredibly simple to use and has a lot of inventory from stores I know and respect. I imagine that its popularity will go through the roof over the Thanksgiving / Christmas holidays. I also wonder how they are preparing for that very strong possibility? They are already getting some buzz from hot media properties like LifeHacker, Cnet and NBC, so I imagine that their traffic has been picking up.

In the off chance that your favorite store is not listed (or you missed out on a deal) you have the option of signing up to get email updates on new deals as they enter into the FreeShipping.org database. At this writing they have free shipping deals to over 700 stores, so there are plenty of excuses to go shopping. (Or is that just my logic?) If no reasons immediately come to mind for you, may I suggest one? (Smile)

My birthday is coming up and I wanted to make a few subtle suggestions to anyone (and a certain someone) who might want to surprise me with a few things from Amazon. (Or Best Buy!) And just in case that is not a big enough hint, here are a few things that would make me smile this Saturday.

BEST BUY

AMAZON

Hmm… This list could get pretty long, so I will stop here and hope that the right person(s) is reading this in time for my birthday on Saturday. Oh, did I mention that they have free shipping coupons? Of course, if all else fails, click here to send cash (preferably enough to buy some Starbucks coffee).

Okay, enough of that. (Smile) Back to work…

.

Nothing says "Thanks for posting this Jim!" like Starbucks Coffee. Click here to buy me a cup (or two).
