		<description>I couldn&#039;t disagree more. While many holidays have become to many people nothing more than opportunities for laziness and consumerism, holidays remain a critical function of every society. They are opportunities for a society to celebrate what unites them.

Those who refuse to participate in holidays are, rather than promoting diversity, actually destroying an occasion which ought to be common ground for celebration. Just because the holiday doesn&#039;t meet your expectations, you call it an enemy of diversity. Why don&#039;t you start participating in diversity by participating in the celebrations of people who aren&#039;t just like you?</description>
