VIDEO - Social Networking Sites Are Lost
Sourcers love Linkedin, but there is a dissenter out there from the world of tech - Ken Rutowski. Check out what he has to say about Social Networks. By the way, I have spoken with Ken and he is a REALLY nice guy.
“So when did social networking become a contest of over populating your friends’ list with complete strangers. Social Networking sites are losing their appeal of being an exclusive location for liked minded people and are now turning into a cluster of “anyones”. Social Networking sites need to go back to the beginning of being a true group of your real life network.”

He really seems like a nice guy..!
I agree with the things he say, but I’m afraid it’s too little too late..
I think there’s a total mess in everyone’s network due to the social network overload. My way of handling this madness is by using 8hands, the profile aggregator which calculate my friends from all networks and presenting a 1-8 scale of true close friends based on communication level.
