PEOPLEIZED - What else could a recruiter want?

Peopleized is a new social network (stop yawning), but with a twist. WHat is it? Well, its set around the premise of people interviewing people. (Yup! I said "interviewing.") Let’s take a quick look around their site, shall we?

This is their homepage (below) and as you can see, its easy to join. Simply sign up, make an interview and you are promoted to the top of their charts via (presumably) audience ratings.

Its a new site, so its does not have a HUGE database yet, but give it time. This is a snapshot of the folks inside as of now.  You can see them too under the "People" tab.

And in case you are wondering what a profile page looks like (I did), check out one that I made for myself.

As soon as I saw the site, bells and whistles began to go off in my head. If everybody joining this site WANTS to be interviewed, then why not do a quick search to see if there is anyone already a member that can fill one of my reqs. So I enter a search for the word "engineer" in the search box and (presently) I get 2 results (and both were software engineers - WoW). Hmmm… so now all I have to do is request an interview with these guys (and/or) read the interviews of others who have chatted with them and get moreinsight on them as a viable candidate for my position.

Interesting…

RATING: Keep an eye on this one.
