"The Professional Recruiter Series" presents…
LinkedIn Loves You (and I can prove it!)
I am a big fan of LinkedIn (no surprise to my audience), so when a technical glitch kept me from using it, I became a bit perturned. After emailing for help and not receiving any "love" from customer support, I decide to vent about it online. Well, my rant received not only the attention of other LinkedIn users encountering similar issues; but also a response from April Kelly – Director of Customer Service for LinkedIn. (Insert the TV theme to "Wonder Woman" here)
April Kelly not only saw to it that my issue was (quickly) resolved, but she also took the extra step of podcasting with me to apologize to any and all LinkedIn users sharing similar issues. (WoW!) How is that for customer service? Thank you April Kelly for turning a frown upside down.

To be clear, LinkedIn loves *you*. Or anyone who has sufficient audience to bother with.
I know many other LinkedIn users who have waited weeks or months for an answer from customer service.
They don’t have enough customer service people to cover all the requests. So, they have to prioritize.
They just happen to have picked “size of blog audience” as that prioritization model.
And yes, I’m just cranky because I don’t have enough audience to rate!
