OMIGAWD!!! I am the MC for SourceCon 2007
Have you heard of SourceCon? Probably not, it’s a conference that will have its inaugural event here in
SourceCon is all about SOURCING!!!
That’s right! Learn new and innovative strategies and techniques for leveraging the internet, phone and other ways of discovering hidden talent. I am SOOOO excited about this one, mostly because (from what I can tell) NO ONE ELSE HAS DONE IT to this extent and (in my opinion) this is WAY overdue. I mean, it seems like there is a recruiting conference every other week. Am I right? But how many of them are exclusive to just Sourcing? NONE!
When SourceCon reached out to me and described their vision, I was SO very impressed. And when I heard about what they have planned for the event (can’t tell you now – sorry) my hand was already writing a check so I could attend, but then I find out that they wanted me to MC the event. WOW oh WOW oh WOW!!!! How cool is that? I will be the MC of an event geared towards all manner of sourcing. WOW! (Big happy smile)

Jim - Now that you have come out of the closet ;-), I guess I can come out too!
I spoke to the SourcCon folks as well and said I was happy to speak at the event and partake in their very intriguing spin on an event pre-workshop.

Having you as the MC for this is like having the Babe at the opening of the Baseball Hall of fame…. a home run for Source Con!
