Thanks for the memories…

Last month I was blessed to have an opportunity to speak at Microsoft’s Global Staffing Summit. In addition to soaking up knowledge from Gerry Crispin and other HR celebrities, I was able to get a few photos of myself on a stage with huge tv screens on both sides of me. (A first for me.)

Jim Stroud trains sourcers.

The whole time (well, maybe not the whole time) I was resisting the urge to jump from the stage and body surf from recruiter to recruiter. Lenny Kravitz was not playing on the speakers or else I might have chanced it.

Glenn “The Great One” Gutmacher was present as well. We tagged team off of each others comments and tossed t-shirts in the crowd whenever someone asked (or answered) a question. A good time was had by all. (Can’t wait to do it again soon.)

:)

Nothing says "Thanks for posting this Jim!" like Starbucks Coffee. Click here to buy me a cup (or two).

Look at you looking all professional looking up there!

Well, at least Jim gets to do it again — his first overseas leg of the Microsoft world sourcing tour begins in 2 weeks. Though I won’t be alongside you, I’m sure you’ll do fine!

And you didn’t sing Roxanne???
