A LOT of people are not online. How do we recruit them?

I asked earlier on my blog if you (as a recruiter or sourcer for that matter) had a strategy in place for connecting with people who shun the internet like the plague. Well, I came across this really cool screensaver that had me wondering something else. How do you reach out to passive candidates who do not shun the web, but do not even have internet access. I guess since I do this stuff all day, every day, I think everybody has internet access. Obviously, I am WAAAAAYYY off best. Check out this video that showcases blog activity in real time.

Not only is this visual cool, but it helps to illustrate (I think) how a large population of the world do not blog, send emails or anything net-centric. Weird… Or maybe that’s just me. What do you think?

Here is the video…

I hear the telephone is a cool litle tool for talking to people. Bleeding edge? No. Effective? yes.

Unfortunately Jim, most people that consider themselves to be “online” means that they check their email sometimes. Not necessarily often. LOL! I’m alot like yourself: Wired up and ready to go. The phone is still a hot feature of communication, but I’d much rather pass a note. Goal Figure! I’m a WRITER.*S* Stay connected brother. LOL!
