The Great Recruiting Discrimination Debate - Round 2
Taking it to the streets - Fielding questions from U.S. human resources and recruiting professionals
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Office of Federal Contract Compliance (OFCCP) go head-to-head with human resources and recruiting professionals from across the United States.
Recruiting is all about discrimination — discrimination based on a candidate’s qualifications for the job being filled. Discriminating appropriately and legally is becoming a bigger issue across the United States. The stakes for employees are increasing as the typical candidate becomes more sophisticated and the new EEOC and OFCCP rules for compliance go into effect. Hear your most challenging questions addressed by senior members of the EEOC and OFCCP.
Round 1 was held in May 2006, and 94% of participants wanted to hear more! Round 2 will be bigger and contain tougher questions. The panel not only includes additional senior members of the EEOC and OFCCP, but also a litigator representing companies challenging these agencies.
