VIDEO - Alex Vayner - This is why you should not lie on your resume!

Okay, where to (even) begin. Aleksey Vayner is about to graduate from Yale and is pursuing a job as an Investment Banker. He (of course) puts his resume online and to get a jump ahead of his competition, posts a video resume extolling his better qualities.

The video (which is causing quite a stir in the blogosphere is below), but here are a few highlights from his 11-page (yes, that is eleven pages) resume.

1. He cites himself as CEO of a company that does not exist.
2. Cites himself as founder of a charity that does not exist.
3. Claims to have written a book, but (according to NPR) plagiarized all of the content.
4. Claims to have taught the winner of the Korean Nationals Tai-Kwan Do Championship.
5. In the video below, Vayner “appears” to be lifting a 495 pound weight and serve a tennis ball at 140 miles per hour.

The story broke on IvyGate and is becoming extremely popular. If you can’t get enough of the ego, check out the following:
Whoooooo… that was a good laugh. I needed that one.
