I read a lot, I blog a lot.
Here are my fab 15 for the week of August 21, 2006.

Where is my money?
1. It is with a tearful eye that I bid a fond farewell this week to the great BlogSwap experiment sponsored by JobSyntax and Recruiting.com. When I think of all the comments made on these posts, I laugh, I cry and I am truly touched. 2. Speaking of Recruiting.com, Jason Davis pointed us to a cool resource – The Poor Recruiter’s Guide to SEO. I flipped through it and it was pretty good guide for newbies. 3. Ragan tries to settle the feud between the ColdCallers and the Emailers, but I think that’s a war that will never end. 4. Anthony J. points out hidden job opportunities that (probably) most search firms are overlooking. 5. Todd Raphael reminds us that recruitment racism is alive and well. (Well, actually that was from a previous week) 6. Shally laments the death of a Google command and gives us a MSN alternative. 7. To contract or not to contract, that is a question for Doug Franklin. 8. Whether or not to come in first, that’s a question for Sarah White. 9. Okay, now a joke with a moral to the story. Stop me if you’ve already heard this one. Two recruiters walk into a bar. 10. If you like that one (or not), maybe my 50th comic will entertain you? (Gee, that was a shameless plug.)

11. Dennis Smith gives us 5 Things a Job Seeker Can’t Live Without. 12. While his Cheeziness gives us 10 reasons for a job site to start a blog. (Share this post and then “The Poor Recruiter’s Guide to SEO” to your clueless head of HR and watch their eyes get stuck in the headlights.) 13. When I saw this video on Exceller8ion I could not get the tune out of my head (no matter how hard I tried.) I’m the internet, you’re the internet, we’re the internet… Thumbs up on the message behind it. 14. Tiffany works hard for her money, so you better treat her right!!! 15. Finally, Bill Vick spends time with Gladney Darroh – the million-dollar man, a recruiter who has billed over $1,000,000.00 for the last 10 years. (Wow!) Hey Gladney can I have your autograph? Umm… on a blank check?

Gladney Darroh is the million dollar man
