Cool Tool Alert! Search Preview Add-in for MSN Search Toolbar (Beta)

Here is another cool tool from the lab boys at Microsoft. You can now install an add-in to your MSN Search tool bar that allows you to preview thumbnail images of your search results and its lightning-fast! (Give or take a thunderbolt.) Here is what the search results page looks like with the add-in installed. Check out the arrow, I have it pointed to a thumbnail preview of a search result.

Now once I mouse over the result…

I get a big pop-up of the search result. Very nice! Why? Well for one thing, it will save me a lot of time when scanning through pages of results for resumes. Simply scan over the thumbnail, peek at the resume and if it meets my criteria I then click and save. Time saved. Another neat-o factor about this utility is that I have the option of adjusting the size of the thumbnail previews, the size of the pop-up preview images and (of course) turning off the previews all together.

I recommend adding this plug-in to your MSN Search toolbar NOW!
